Chapter 0: Prologue
It wasn’t like I had any particular intention behind it.
No, it wasn’t even something I could say I had an intention for.
It was simply a fan’s love.
Like sharing a cute cat video with a friend when you come across one.
I just wanted people to see this cute streamer.
All I was was a college student who could barely do anything beyond making clips.
“…But how the hell did it end up like this?”
[Uni_clip]
[There’s a streamer who actually cries while playing horror games?]
When I happily uploaded this video, I had no idea.
I never imagined that the clip I uploaded to VTube would ride the power of the algorithm and blow up like this.
Looking at the flood of comments underneath, I felt dizzy.
[I found her. My new hidden gem.]
[The moment you saw this video, she stopped being a hidden gem, didn’t she?]
[Who is this person, and why is she so cute? What’s with that voice? Why was she so unknown until now?]
[Seriously, she’s ridiculously cute.]
[So the saying about the sound of jade marbles rolling on a silver tray wasn’t just a saying after all. Damn.]
[I watch her whenever I’m feeling down, and it instantly cheers me up. Her crying voice is genuinely healing.]
[Officer! There’s a pervert here!]
[Calling a crying voice “healing” is a little…]
Of course, some of the massive influx of viewers from VTube went to the streamer herself.
Even so, my favorite streamer, who had once struggled to get even a few dozen regular viewers, had only been a tiny streamer.
[Uni]
[Viewers: 1,089]
In less than a month, she had grown this much.
I guess this was what people called a breakout.
Still, I didn’t mind.
After all, my favorite streamer had merely gone from being a tiny streamer to something like a small-to-mid-sized one, and it hadn’t changed my life at all.
The only difference was that more people were watching the streams I enjoyed.
“Could it be… Are you the person who makes Uni’s clips?”
Of course, that was only until my favorite streamer, whom I had helped blow up, discovered who I was.
